Resurgentis

“Resurgentis” é uma série inspirada por ambientes secos, marcados pela ação do tempo e do homem, essas imagens não retratam a morte como fim, mas como um estado de transição. Há nelas uma narrativa silenciosa de resistência.

As imagens, quase fotográficas, são como um registro fictício de uma natureza que se regenera e se renova; resignificando o seco, a morte, como uma representação da esperança e renovação, com a vida encontrando sua forma de resistir, ocupando seus espaços e se impondo. A finitude humana, a inevitabilidade da morte, são desafiadas por uma eterna evolução em um flerte de esperança na vida eterna.

Mar Ancestral

Há alguns anos, com as séries Paradisus e Resurgentis, venho falando sobre a natureza em seus ciclos de vida-morte-vida. MAR ANCESTRAL é uma referência ao Cariri, de onde venho. Nasci no Crato e vim para Fortaleza ainda criança. O trabalho é inspirado na região que abriga uma imensa diversidade de registros de vida e conta a história de milhões de anos da Terra, a partir de um lugar que um dia já foi mar

Achei que a água, com suas “lentes" e reflexos poderia enriquecer o trabalho. Também queria voltar a pintar a figura humana. Assim nasceu Acqua, com uma exposição em outubro de 2010."

Dobras Moles

Sempre nos meus trabalhos o olho teimava em fixar-se nos detalhes, nos tecidos, em suas formas mágicas, orgânicas, cheias de vida. Adorava me abster do resto e criar composições quase que independentes que começaram surgindo timidamente e, aos poucos, foram exigindo espaço. Nas duas últimas individuais já eram mais que evidentes, agora são o foco principal numa tênue fronteira entre o abstrato e o figurativo. Dobras Moles é isso, o puro prazer de pintar, a essência.
